Intrigue Chat is built with its community, not just for it. The Suggestion Room is where members share their community suggestions – ideas for new rooms, features, events and improvements – and where staff listen.
Many of the rooms and features you enjoy today started life as a member’s suggestion.
Who is the Suggestion Room for?
Any member with an idea, a piece of feedback or a feature they’d love to see. You don’t need to be a regular or have a high rank – fresh eyes often spot the best improvements.
What you can suggest
- New themed rooms.
- Features, games and bots.
- Events, quizzes and competitions.
- Changes to existing rooms.
- Improvements to the website or mobile experience.
How to write a great suggestion
The more useful your suggestion, the more likely it is to happen.
- Explain the problem – what isn’t working, or what’s missing?
- Describe your idea – what would you change or add?
- Say who benefits – new members, a particular room, everyone?
- Keep it specific – “a weekly music quiz on Fridays” beats “more games”.
What happens next?
Staff read suggestions and discuss them. Popular, practical ideas are the most likely to be added, and staff may ask follow-up questions or share updates in the room. Not every idea can be used, but every idea is considered.
House rules
- Keep feedback constructive and specific.
- Respect other people’s ideas, even if you disagree.
- Report problems with individual members to staff privately, not here.
- All site rules apply.
Examples of good community suggestions
- “A weekly themed quiz night – music on Fridays, films on Sundays.”
- “A pinned message in each room explaining its house rules for new members.”
- “A quiet room for members who want slower, calmer chat.”
- “A monthly event where staff answer community questions.”
Positive feedback counts too
Chat site feedback isn’t only about problems. If a new room, event or feature works well, say so – knowing what members enjoy helps staff decide what to keep, repeat or expand.
Discussing ideas with others
Suggestions get better when people build on them. If you like an idea, say why. If you see a problem with it, suggest a fix rather than just saying no. Staff pay attention to which ideas get genuine support and thoughtful discussion, so taking part in the conversation helps good ideas rise to the top.
Frequently asked questions
Will my suggestion be used?
Every suggestion is read. Popular, practical ideas are the most likely to be added.
Can I suggest a new room?
Yes. Explain the theme, who it’s for and how it would be different from the rooms that already exist – that helps staff judge whether there’s demand.
Can I report a bug here?
Yes – describe what happened and what device you were using.
Where do I report a member?
Use the report tools or contact staff privately rather than posting in the Suggestion Room.
