Every name in Intrigue wears a crest. It tells you who someone is in the community at a glance: who runs the site, who looks after the rooms, and who’s simply here to chat. Here’s what each crest means, what VIP adds, and how members get a room of their own.
The staff crests
- Inner Circle runs the site: the Owner, Second in Command, Leadership Admin and Leadership Apprentice.
- Room Keepers look after the rooms: welcoming people, keeping things running smoothly and acting on reports.
- Advisors help with community, events and the look of the site.
Follow staff directions in the moment. If you disagree with a decision, take it up privately or through the Contact Us page, not in the room.
The member crests
- Guest: you’ve come in with just a username, gender and age. No email needed.
- Member: you’ve registered a full account.
- VIP: you’ve upgraded for extra features.
- Intrigue+: you’re a VIP member with an approved room of your own.
What VIP adds
VIP is a paid upgrade. It unlocks extra features, such as access to more rooms as they open, sending gifts and more. Features can change as the site grows.
You don’t need VIP to chat, make friends or enjoy Intrigue Bar And Lounge. It’s an extra, not an entry fee.
Intrigue+ and your own room
VIP members can apply for a room of their own. Message an owner with your room idea. Approval is at the owners’ discretion, and once your room is approved you’re upgraded to Intrigue+ at no extra cost. With Intrigue+ you run your room, assign ranks in it and make your profile stand out. An approved room follows the same Terms and House Rules as everywhere else.
Gold and Rubies
- Gold buys gifts for other members, and some drinks at the bar.
- Rubies pay for a name change.
Both are virtual items for use inside Intrigue Chat only. They have no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred.
Discreet billing
Charges appear on your statement as GreenCharge Inc., never as Intrigue Chat or a chat site. If you see a GreenCharge Inc. charge you don’t recognise, contact us before disputing it and we’ll help.
If an account is banned for breaking the Terms or House Rules, VIP isn’t refunded, and its Intrigue+ status, room, Gold and Rubies go with it.
